Hello, visitor!
I’m Ceren (she/her) — a graphic designer based in NJ, from Istanbul, TR.
BACKGROUND
My passion for art, photography, and film began at an early age. I was always drawn to the power of color, composition, and visual storytelling, whether through a photograph, a moving image, or a simple creative idea. My curiosity and imagination were qualities that quickly became noticeable to my family and teachers, and I knew I wanted to pursue a path where creativity could be at the center of my work. Years later, I’m proud to have turned that passion into a career and officially add “Graphic Designer” to my business card.
EDUCATION
I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, along with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations and an immersion in Gender Studies. Throughout my time at RIT, I had the opportunity to explore a wide range of design disciplines, including brand identity, packaging, editorial design, motion graphics, advertising, and UI/UX design.
Each project challenged me to experiment with different visual approaches, strengthen my technical skills, and develop a deeper understanding of design as a form of communication. I am grateful for the guidance of my professors and the inspiration I gained from collaborating with talented, like-minded peers throughout my time at RIT.
OTHER THAN DESIGN…
When I’m not organizing endless layers in a design file or searching for the perfect transparent PNG, I enjoy exploring other creative outlets. I have a passion for film photography, collecting vintage film cameras, and playing the piano. These hobbies allow me to continue experimenting, observing, and finding inspiration beyond the screen.
My goal with every project I work on is simple:
Solve the problem.
And my preferred way of doing this is by creating a user-centric experience that integrates…
